MFAs... I don't think I'm going to have an adequate portfolio ready for applying later this year/early 2013 so perhaps I ought to rethink the short-medium term plan... apply for funding and residencies for the next 12 months and generate lots of work? Explore the world? I need to get out of Newcastle but I'm totally broke and do have a lovely studio and allotment there... I just don't know... I've spent so long working with other people on their work and ideas I've completely lost confidence in my own practice and lines of enquiry but if I can't be an artist, can I really be anything at all?...
